Before Purchase:

Can I view the bed somewhere?
You are welcome to view the bed at Wisselink Caravans in Lichtenvoorde (Mercatorstraat 19, 7131 PW Netherlands). We have a demonstration model in the showroom.

Will the bed fit in our caravan?
On our product information page, we explain which seating groups the bed fits into with examples. We also provide measurements to consider. We recommend (if in doubt) measuring the seating group in your caravan with a tape measure before ordering. Over the years, we have found that the caravan bed fits in most caravans.

Can the UWIS caravan bed be used without the included ladder?
The ladder has a supporting function. The UWIS caravan bed cannot be used without the included ladder.

Do I have a warranty on the UWIS Caravan Bed?
You have a 2-year warranty on the UWIS caravan bed.

What quality can I expect?
We have filled our website with as many photos as possible to showcase the bed’s quality. We take pride in the product’s quality. However, please note that aluminum tubes may sometimes show minor marks from the bending process.

Do you sell spare parts?
We sell various spare parts. You can find them under the “Buy” section on our website.

For what age and weight is the UWIS caravan bed suitable?
Once the caravan bed is in use, a child up to 147 cm tall and weighing up to 50 kg can use it, typically up to about 12 years old. The bed may not be used without supervision up to the age of 6 for safety reasons.

Do you sell a bed elevation (guardrail) for young children?
We do not sell a bed elevation or guardrail for young children. The bed is not suitable for babies or toddlers.

What is the delivery time?
We ship it within a few working days using DHL. Due to the large size of the package, which does not go through regular parcel delivery, shipping times can vary from approximately 1-6 working days within the Netherlands to 2-10 working days outside the Netherlands.

Can you expedite delivery?
Due to the size of the package, we cannot expedite the delivery of the bed.

To which countries do you ship?
Currently, we ship to the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

In Use:

The click adapters for securing the stairs work a little stiff, what is the easiest way to secure them?
To ensure the safest possible product, the click adapters are extra stiff. The easiest way to install the click adapters is as follows (see video below):
1. Insert the click adaptor halfway into the tube. The bed can then lean on the stairs.
2. Push the click fingers in as deeply as possible with one hand. (Important)
3. Tap gently with your other hand on top of the click adapter so that it moves into the tube until it clicks into place.

I cannot lower the ladder, and the bed is higher at the front. How can I level the bed?
This may occur if the cabinets in your caravan are positioned lower. You can resolve this by using the straight cabinet adapter tubes (part #2, see manual) instead of the curved tubes (part #1).

Where do I attach the metal support profile/plate for the rear bracket if there is no profile where the table is normally placed, as in a U-shaped seating area?
You can attach the metal support profile/plate to the wooden (side) wall using chipboard screws.
